They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Who really knows? But fidelity national information services is now sporting a zillow-like property value model. Perhaps they’re a little more credible than Zillow, in that they are one of the nation’s leading supplier of data to “financial institutions; card issuer and transaction processing services; mortgage loan processing and mortgage-related information products; and outsourcing services to financial institutions, retailers, mortgage lenders and real estate professionals.”
This site is worth visiting, and having a go at their model. There is indeed a great deal of info available, and a google-type map pops up with comps from neighborhood properties. Check it out here and see what you think.
